A reviewer bought the Avocado Green mattress to use on their bunk bed. As the mattress comes compressed in a box (also known as bed-in-a-box), they had to uncompress it. The sleeper says that the mattress stunk up the room. The smell was so strong and unpleasant that they had to open the window for days in an attempt to get rid of the smell. Avocado mattress offers free shipping and delivery to customers in the US. Their website states that they ship orders in 1 to 3 business days. However, in a recent complaint, a buyer of the mattress claims to have not received his order. After trying to reach the Avocado team and canceling his order, the customer only got a partial refund.

Mattress companies often use a third party company to ship products e.g. FedEx. Often, the mattress company isn’t at fault for a delayed or missing shipment. However, the customer service should be able to quickly follow up with the shipping company and find out the issue. Once your order is shipped, the mattress company should send you a tracking number. If you haven’t received any tracking number, then there’s a high chance your order wasn’t shipped. It’s important to read on shipping and refund policies for each company before buying from them, to avoid issues in the near future.
