Featuring TENCEL materials blended with organic cotton, these MOLECULE sheets are designed for cooler and cleaner sleep. We found them to be lightweight, thanks to its percale type of weave. These sheets are effective in wicking away moisture to prevent bacteria growth and assist with cooling.
If you have sensitive skin, you will find that the high quality fabric and materials in these sheets are soothing and not itchy. We found these sheets were crisp and airy to the touch, which make it feel smooth even to the most sensitive skin. One of the best things about this sheet set is that it is environmentally friendly. The TENCEL material is made from sustainable wood sources and the development process is an eco-friendly loop where almost 100% of the water used is recovered. That's why other brands like Ghostbed also use plant-based TENCEL material in creating high-quality sheets.

Overall Thoughts:
This is the most luxurious sheet set offered by PlushBeds. The Egyptian fabric combined with the best skilled Italian craftsmanship creates sheets so marvelous that it’s a wonder we haven’t used them before this. The 400 thread count is pushing the limits for breathability, but the softness and skilled design make up for it.
These sheets fit every bed size from twin to a split California king bed. The set is well made and the site has dimensions so you can be sure you get the correct size for your bed. Even though these sheets are much pricier than other options, the high quality make and satisfying feel of the set is almost too irresistible.

Overall Thoughts:
We decided to check out the Linen Home sheets after seeing all the hype about it. Percale sheets are usually offered in queen or twin size beds in a maximum of three colors so we were excited to see the ample choices available. Once we received our set, we were happily surprised by the high quality of it considering its price. If you’re looking for a set of sheets for everyone in your family, Linen Home sheets are worth checking out.
At such an affordable price point, we were surprised to see how comparable they are to higher end brands due to its durability and sturdiness after washing it a couple of times. It stretches perfectly on the bed and feels cool enough that you want to stay in bed longer than you should.
The Linen Home sheets are OEKO-TEX certified and tested to ensure they are safe for long term use and made through sustainable production means. The sheets are first passed through Air Jet Loom and then stitched using sewing machines to give it a perfect finish and eliminate any extra threads, and are accompanied with a 200 thread count.

Overall Thoughts:
The Bumble Towels set makes an impressive claim of being comparable to premium brands. We tested the queen set in Sky Blue and can confirm that they are indeed an impressive find and feel like luxury thanks to the Supima cotton.
This percale set is available in 5 colors for twin and queen size beds, and like other brands, it includes a fitted sheet and flat sheet, and two pillow cases. However, we noticed what makes this particular set of percale sheets stand out from other percales is the quality and softness that come from American grown cotton and the 270 thread count.
The Supima not only retains the color, but it also maintains the soft texture after we tried washing it a couple of times. The seams and stitches stayed intact, and the microfibers didn’t bunch up like would other bed sheets. It maintained its beautiful form and finish, which made us wish they had more color to choose from. You will enjoy the crisp feeling and its satin-like finish. It’s one of our favorite percale sets for a reason.
What Are Percale Sheets?
The word “percale” might confuse you since it doesn’t tell you what makes it different from other bedding. In fact, percale refers to the way in which the sheets were weaved. It’s not about the material, rather, it’s about their smooth cotton finish which makes them both elegant, comfortable, breathable and most importantly, durable.

To give you a better idea of how it's made, picture this: a tight knit yarn that becomes softer with every wash. “Percale” refers to how the threads go one under the other one at a time and forms a tight weave, and makes them feel softer and crispier than other weaves. The higher the thread count, the better and softer the quality.
While most brands claim they are 100% cotton, producers blend them with polyester or silk to make them less wrinkly. Don’t worry, this is to enhance the quality and make them more comfortable.
If you want to invest a little more, try extra-long-staple fibers which make the sheets feel softer. Although they do cost more, you might find the investment worthwhile as they are top of the range when it comes to the best percale sheets.
Benefits of Percale Sheets
There’s a reason percale sheets are so popular. Check out these benefits to see whether you want to get one for yourself.
Affordability
As seen with the above options, percale sheets are usually priced affordably. You would think that good quality bedding costs a fortune, but thanks to new technology, you can get comfortable percale bedding for a much cheaper price.
Reduces Allergies
Percale is also the best for anyone that has too many allergies. They were made to be breathable and prevent from building up too much moisture. Another advantage is that it doesn’t collect as much dust as do other fabrics thanks to the way it's woven.

Durability
You have to wash your new percale sheets before first use. You’ll notice an incredible difference and how soft they become. This is good news because you won’t need to worry about the quality wearing out. Instead, they just get better and higher quality over time which will be the best thing about your investment. Additionally, wash the sheets often and immediately they get stains or spills to prevent sheet damage.
Wrinkle Resistant
Since the cotton fabric is blended with polyester or silk, they are wrinkle free and prevent pilling. You won’t need to iron or pick at your fabric to make sure it's kept in its best condition.
Great for the Summer
Finally, percale sheets feel cool and crisp, which is the best for summer. They are especially great for kids as the sheets are odor resistant and won’t pick up any sweat.
Long Staple Cotton
As the staple fibers in the cotton increases, so does the cottons softness and silky feel. Long staple cotton is a common term that's used when describing ultra-soft, silky feeling cotton sheets. If you're looking for the silkiest feel, look for sheets that are long staple cotton rather than short staple cotton.
Conclusion
There are many benefits to the best percale sheets and they are the ideal sheets for a bed. Each of the products we reviewed have different strengths, but overall, our verdict is that percale sheets are high quality and definitely worth the investment. One of the best things is that they last three times longer than other sheets so you won’t need to worry about purchasing a new set any time soon.
